Do i learn how to make my own markup language
I've always had a desire to make something like markdown
or bbtext
or html
or text
but i always got stuck
yes stuck
that state of not knowing what to do
where to go
but this time i got a plan
i know what i want
what to do
the path i need to take
language is how we interact with each other
language can be multiple things
example: this, is language
but this is—
it's a markup language
it allows you to express yourself using text
very new concept, i know
why not? it's fun! here is why i made a—
there is textual languages, verbal languages, sign languages
programming languages, and markup languages
if you can express your ideas, and other people can understand them, then it's a language
but this, is—
it's another markup language, it takes ideas from markdown
it's meant to be similar to markdown
it has the bare minimum needed for these blogposts
lets go back to—
no lets explain—
i was bored
i had nothing to do
i didnt feel stuck
i went with the flow
and the flow
the flow went back to—
we need language
we have to express ourselves
we have to let others express themselves
we have to respect their opinions
but what if—
do we really need to—
what is—
is my second project
it's my first language
it's my only language
does it make any sense?
was it worth making?
did i waste my time?
am i thinking too hard?
it's just a tool
it's just a tool
a tool... for thought
but what if
what if it wasn't
i think we have to stop and think
does this really matter?
i mean, making tools that are similar to others
because clearly i could've gone with markdown
or with raw html if i was feeling fancy
but no, i can do better
i decided to get out of my comfort zone
and make my own tool, my own language
something to express myself
something to let my thoughts flow
something to... feel free
it's not just a tool for thought, it's something else
